Magic with metal

Hello everyone
it certainly has been a long time between posts !!
Some health issues with my hubby
 have stopped me creating recently.
He had a massive cycling accident
lots of internal bleeding and broken bones
and cuts and bruises !!!
He has been diagnosed with Post traumatic Stress Disorder.
the last 5 years he has endured a massive infection from a hip replacement,
cancer , heart disease and now his cycling accident
no wonder he is stressed !!!!
He is improving little by little
thank goodness.
I know we can get through this together .
Here is a textured LO
I used a beautiful photo of a stunning piece of metal jewelery
created by the very talented
Deryn Boyd Mentock
see her amazing creations on her FB page .
I titled this page MAGIC
loaded with Dusty Attic chippies and texture.
love these delightful pieces of beauty .

thanks so much for popping by .
and taking a look at my work
take care until next time
happy scrapping

I made this BirthdayTag for our son-in-law
Jair is a cyclist and I wanted to create a tag with a cycling feel to it .
his bike is a red and black Macini
He rode in the January tour down under .
The geometric corners,  the black paper and arrows mimic the roads
The cogs are on the bike
the string represents the shoelaces
Jair celebrated his 42nd Birthday .

To achieve this deep rich orange I used two colors
I mixed Sunburnt Orange with a tiny amount of Hot Chocolate .
Finished with clear gloss

Hello there my friends .. thanks for popping by
Thought I would post a few of my faves from last year .. 2015
a mixture of layouts and OTP Projects .
every piece showcases Dusty Attic chipboard .

be prepared for a long post ..
I find it amazing at the end of each year when I collect
my work and see how much I have created the twelve months.
here are a few of my faves from 2015
hope you enjoy them .
I found this Photo on Pinterest
I adore using mood boards in my work
 Memories of my childhood
loved my Ballet x

SEAGULLS fascinate me .
Just the way they sit and view the world .
on the lookout for food and friends .
THIS STATUE sits happily in my garden.
My embellishments represent different elements living in my garden
lots of birds, foliage, texture, raised garden beds, time I spend each day
lovingly tending to my blissful place .

softness with pastels .

I loved creating this textured BG ...
The pic is of one of the beaches we visited
on one of our holidays to New Zealand.
what an amazing place ... so unspoiled and natural .
absolute Beauty.

I love to fossick in little 'bric n brac' shops hidden away in the Adelaide Hills .
this one had some real treasures, with a slightly industrial design and feel to the building .

AFFIRMATIONS, make up a large part of my daily life .

A TEXTURED BG with a monochromatic theme .

my journal I created with memories of my beautiful son mark .
he was killed on his motorbike at age 22 .
